Work     Info

Moses Omeogo (german-nigerian, b. 1997) explores the complex narratives of afro-german identity, through a dynamic interplay of  photography and video. He uses these various approaches to highlight the thoughts and questions about the black experience from other members of the diaspora and his own. Omeogo’s work seeks to challenge the viewer and confront them with a reality which has either been overlooked or marked by bias and false narratives.

He has worked as an editor and photographer for the Süddeutsche Zeitung and graduated from the Ostkreuz School of Photography as part of the masterclass. Omeogo is a jury member of the German Youth Photography Award.
